The Boston LGBTQ+ Museum of Art, History and Culture made a splash during Pride month with its inaugural, sold-out Portraits of Pride Ball. The event brought together over 700 LGBTQ+ activists, attorneys, corporate and nonprofit leaders, and elected officials. With Governor Maura Healy serving as cochair and joining via video and shared remarks, the event raised thousands of dollars for the new museum. A signature program of the Boston LGBTQ+ Museum, Portraits of Pride is now an exhibit, a ball and an award show as well. More: bostonlgbtqmuseum.org
