A joyous event, when the community came out for Ogunquit’s annual Pride festivities, which included a marching band, a couple of antique Pride-decorated vehicles and the giant River of Pride flag. The flag-raising was attended by several hundred people under cloudy and cool skies (but no rain!). The agenda included a letter of support from the governor, speeches by Speaker of the Maine House Ryan Fecteau and local politicians, and a moment of silence for the late US Congressman from Massachusetts and Ogunquit resident Barney Frank.
