The Ocean State’s extraordinarily vibrant LGBTQ+ community and allies overcame the raindrops—well, okay, LOTS of raindrops—and they did it all in massive style for their 47th Rhode Island PrideFest & Illuminated Night Parade. More than 250 nonprofit organizations, businesses and food vendors filled the new Providence Innovation Center District Park along with all-day entertainment by local, regional and national acts on the mainstage before the sun went down and the lights came up on the one-of-a-kind nighttime festivites.
