“Forward Together” was the theme of the 40th annual Human Rights Campaign’s 2022 New England dinner. The 2022 Trailblazer Award went to Ashton Mota, an 18-year-old transgender activist from Lowell, Mass., coauthor of a children’s book on inclusivity, and member of HRC’s Parents for Transgender Equality Council.
