The Boston Hancocks, a tournament team comprised of members of the FLAG Flag Football League, competed in the annual Gay Bowl over the Columbus Day weekend. With a solid win over Pittsburg, a loss to Chicago, and a win over Philadelphia, the Boston team was kept from the ultimate trophy because of a weather cancellation on the final day of play. As a small, but accurate consolation, the Boston contingent was awarded the Loudest Team Award. For more information on the Boston Hancocks, check out www.flagflagfootball.com.
