The Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Gay for Good and FriendshipWorks teamed up again this year to create Valentines to send to our older friends and neighbors. All totaled, some 50 volunteers made just over 700 Valentines which were distributed to Boston-area nursing homes, assisted living centers and home-bound seniors. The Sisters hosted the card-makers, the event was staffed by the Gay for Good organizers and distributing the cards was FriendshipWorks, a nonprofit founded in 1984 to assist eldery persons in and around Boston.
