Hundreds of thousands of LGBTQ+ friends and allies gathered in District Park—along both sides of the downtown pedestrian bridge—for the Ocean State’s 49th annual Pride celebration. Pride-goers joined over 250 nonprofit organizations, businesses and food vendors and grooved to all-day entertainment by local, regional and national acts on the mainstage. Daytime festivities were followed by the famous Illuminated Night Parade, which filled the city’s streets with light and joy. More: prideri.org
