At their annual gala, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company tributed their upcoming summer production on the Boston Common, “As You Like It,” which takes place in the forest of Arden. Rooms were decorated with trees, glittering lights and flowers, courtesy of Winston Flower. 2025 Gala Chairs were Paul and Melissa Karger and Alex and Lianne Leventhal. Philanthropist and major CSC supporter Ricardo Rodriguez, joined by husband Michael Kelley, was the honoree. Guests included Mayor Michelle Wu, accompanied by her new baby, and CSC supporters Christy Cashman, Susan and Bill Poduska, Paolo Martini, Brian Piccini and The Ruggieri-Lam Family. Boston Mayor Wu served as emcee and auctioneer. Gov. Maura Healey sent a welcoming video. CSC actors and singers provided Shakespeare-themed entertainment, and stage and TV actor Jeffrey Donovan delivered the famous “Seven Ages of Man” speech from “As You Like It.” More: commshakes.org
