The Garden was decked out in rainbow colors for the Celtics seventh annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night, when the home team beat the Brooklyn Nets 104-96. Two singers from the all-women, all-nonbinary band The Femmes sang the National Anthem, and Boston Music Award-winner Zola Simone performed at halftime. The Hero Among Us award went to LGBTQ+ leader and advocate Mercedes Loving-Manley, founder of PrideXtended. Monique Aimee of Joy Street Studios in Somerville created the Pride Night poster.
