Trans Community of New England’s First Event is one of the largest and longest-running transgender and gender expansive conferences in the country. Celebrating its 43rd year, there were scores of presenters hosting over 125 workshops of incredibly varied topics and purposes. The transFormed Show celebrated individual expression and talents in a cabaret-meets-fashion-show mix of high energy acts and deep, meaningful moments. Attendees enjoyed a dance party with a traditional Ballroom experience led by House Mother Athena West. This year’s Frances Cardullo Gala featured a powerfully moving evening with community leaders, impactful supporters and a lifechanging keynote presentation from the Are You OK? Project.
