Greater Boston PFLAG hosted their 21st annual Pride & Passion fundraiser fête, this year honoring Athena Edmonds with their 2023 Cornerstone of Equity Award. Athena advocates for LGBTQ+ Youth to address health care disparities as a speaker and writer. She is also a Greater Boston PFLAG support group facilitator, helpline volunteer and parent. The extraordinary Mary Callanan emceed the event, which included a song from the cast of the musical “The Prom.” Further festivities included a paddle raise, a signature cocktail, edible glitter, a hula hooper and lots more laughter and fun.
