BAGLY Executive Director Grace Sterling Stowell was honored by the Boston Celtics and the Massachusetts State Lottery as a Hero Among Us at the Celtics’ fifth annual LGBTQ Pride Night game. Escorted by Outvets colorguard, nonbinary singer Krystofer Maison performed the National Anthem, and Damian Carter and Haus of Snap, featuring the Celtics Dancers, took the court at halftime. Prior to the game, the Celtics Pride Employee Resource Team welcomed invited guests from the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement, student leaders from Boston Public Schools GSAs, to a roundtable discussion with community leaders and courtside seats for team warm-ups before the Celtics took on the Brooklyn Nets.
