Provincetownies and visitors came out on the first crisp, clear morning of the new year to celebrate the sixth annual Polar Bear Plunge. The intrepid bathers gathered in the Johnson Street parking lot to tunes spun by DJ Chris Racine, where they learned about the important work of the Center for Coastal Studies before running, splashing and plunging together into Provincetown Harbor. This charity tradition was part of the Provincetown First Light celebrations for New Years Weekend 2023. More; ptown.org
