Boston Living Center clients, volunteers, staff, donors and board members gathered in the BLC dining room for a delicious, seasonal vegetarian brunch prepared by former BLC Chef Michael Bacon. For over 20 years, Bacon has worked in restaurants, hotels, and university catering, but his heart belongs to making food that creates community—from trying to get calories into people living with HIV in the ’90s, to creating culturally relevant food for the BLC’s many communities, to sitting down to eat and connect with the guests.
