Gay For Good Boston volunteers donate their time to community service projects at a variety of nonprofits and local community groups. In September, they planted 1,000 native shrubs, plants and seedlings at Worlds End Preserve in Hingham. For the Prison Books Program in Quincy, they sorted books, wrote notes and addressed packages to incarcerated people across the US. They distributed groceries to 420 members of the community for St. Luke’s food Episcopal Church food pantry in Chelsea. They did a clean up project in the Middlesex Fells, and they weeded out the garden at ReVision Urban Farm. More: gayforgood.org/boston
