Over 225,000 LGBTQ+ friends and allies filled the streets for Rhode Island’s 2022 PrideFest and Illuminated Night Parade. Held in the Providence Innovation District Park, the festival had over 225 event sponsors, small businesses and nonprofit organizations. Its main stage was graced with a diverse lineup of local and regional artists, with headliners Pangina Heelz, Ada Vox and Willie Gomez. The day was capped off by New England’s only Illuminated Night Parade. This was one for the history books, likely to be the largest parade in Rhode Island Pride history.
