“We’re still on a high from the fantastic, love-filled Newport Pride weekend. We were blown away by the number of youth who attended from all over the state. We estimate that over 600 people came through the Pride Festival, and about 1,525 riders in our Pride Ride with Bike Newport. Here at NewportOUT, we are feeling more energized and ready to keep working to improve our community. Moving forward, we hope Newport continues to become a more welcoming city for the LGBTQ+ community and anyone visiting or staying here.
