Boston nonprofit Community Servings made it easier than ever to put a pie on Thanksgiving tables with gourmet deliciousness while providing much-needed funds to feed critically ill neighbors. To ensure health and safety and give longstanding, generous bakers and restaurant partners a reprieve during COVID-19, they streamlined the process. All pies were scratch-made at Community Servings’ kitchen and a local gourmet pie bakery. Once baked and cooled, pies were boxed, sealed and transported untouched by professional movers.
