In addition to individual and team awards, the fifth class of the Boston Gay Basketball League Hall of Fame was inducted. The five newest members honored were Joe Antoun, Fenway Health, Terrence Powers, Gary Staples and Larry White. A league member (player, coach, sponsor, official or volunteer) is eligible for nomination with a minimum of seven years in the league; nominees must receive two-thirds affirmative votes from the Hall of Fame to be inducted. The regular season and playoffs take place between November and March, with eight-week pick up leagues in May/June, July/August, and September/October.
