For Deb and Arlene, a longtime couple from Pennsylvania, marriage didn’t mean anything until DOMA was overturned and they could experience the federal protection that all couples enjoy. On May 17, they were thrilled to get married on the anniversary of a decade of same-sex marriage in Mass and at their favorite destination, Sage Inn & Lounge in Provincetown. Over 50 of their friends and family members from all over the U.S. gathered in Ptown for a beachside ceremony and reception at Sage, which featured a number of special elements, including a performance by musician Zoe Lewis, a flower ceremony honoring those who have passed and a dessert buffet.
