Angels in Adoption

Washington | DC | September 12Boston-based Adoption & Foster Care Mentoring Executive Director Colby Swettberg (right) was recently honored as a member of the 2012 class of ‘Angels in Adoption’ by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. Swettberg received her award from US Sen. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana (center). Swettberg’s wife, Sarah Swettberg, left, also attended. Swettberg was nominated for the award by US Sen. John Kerry, who cited Swettberg’s outstanding advocacy of foster care issues.
