175 came out to support LGBT youth, and mingled amongst the penguins, turtles and fish while enjoying the hospitality of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, delicious nibbles, and creative cocktails. BAGLY recognized the achievements of Dr. Ralph Vetters of Fenway Health/The Borum with the Michael Pumphret Distinguished Leadership Award. Renowned Civil Rights and social justice activist, Mandy Carter, was awarded BAGLY’s inaugural Queer Activist College Honorary Degree. WCBV’s Randy Price led a successful live auction. Over $45,000 was raised during the evening, far exceeding any other fundraising event in BAGLY’s 32-year old history.
