The fourth largest and oldest GLBT Chamber of Commerce in America gave out their coveted Awards for Excellence (AFE) at the W Boston Hotel. Joanne Herman received the Community Service Award for an Individual. Boston Gay Men’s Chorus received the Community Service Award for a company or organization. Home for Little Wanderers/Waltham House received the Community Service Award for a Non-Profit. The Ragon Institute received the Presidents Community Service Award. And the Honorary Community Service Award went to Boston’s Honorable Mayor Thomas M. Menino.Joanne Herman
