Pie in the Sky, Community Servings’ annual Thanksgiving fundraising bake sale, is back for its 34th year, dishing up delicious pies whose proceeds support folks across Massachusetts and Rhode Island impacted by HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes and other critical and chronic illnesses.
A Pie in the Sky purchase provides a full week of nourishing, scratch-made, medically tailored meals for a neighbor living with critical or chronic illness.
And that support matters tremendously this year. Demand for medically tailored meals continues to grow while funding sources become increasingly uncertain. When others are pulling back, it means our community must do more.
Choose from locally baked apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies, or enjoy all three with “A Few of My Favorite Things,” our special three-pie bundle in a brown jute bag tied up with string.
The bundle celebrates our partnership with the Boch Center and The Sound of Music, playing at the Wang Theatre November 17–22.
As an added thank-you, everyone who purchases a pie or makes a donation will receive 30% off eligible tickets* to The Sound of Music. Look for your special discount code in your email confirmation receipt.
Don’t need a pie? Make a Pie for a Community Servings Client donation instead and provide a week of meals. Every Pie for a Client donation also includes a free post-Thanksgiving car wash from our friends at ScrubaDub Auto Wash Centers.
However you participate, pie is more than dessert. It is how our community comes together to nourish neighbors facing serious illness.
Order today at pieinthesky.org. Pies will be ready for pickup Tuesday, November 24, at locations across eastern Massachusetts.
