For their 24th annual Spirit of Justice Award Dinner, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) will honor the plaintiffs who won the landmark Goodridge ruling that made Massachusetts the first state in the country where same-sex couples could legally marry. The event takes place on Thursday, November 9, in Downtown Boston. The reception begins at 6 p.m. with the dinner and speaking program starting at 7 p.m. followed by drinks and dessert at 9 p.m.
Honorees include Gloria Bailey-Davies, Linda Bailey-Davies, Edward Balmelli, Maureen Brodoff, Gary Chalmers, Rob Compton, Hillary Goodridge, Julie Goodridge, Michael Horgan, Richard Linnell, Gina Nortonsmith, Heidi Nortonsmith, Ellen Wade and David Wilson.
