For nearly 30 years, the Dinner Party and the Men’s Event served as the signature fundraisers for Fenway Health, which hosted the swish soirées mere weeks apart. When the organization rebooted its live events post-COVID, though, it brought the two together into a single festivity: the Fenway Health Gala, now back for its second year. It’s introducing a second component in 2023, too: the Afterparty, a separately ticketed bash for those who want to skip the red carpet and head straight to the dance floor. The Gala dinner will still be an excellent opportunity to congratulate this year’s honorees (and the winners of the awesome live auction prizes). But if you’d rather show your support for the country’s leading LGBTQ health care and research facility by simply partying down, listen up: now you can.
