During these eerie and unforgettable times, the urge to go outside and interact with our friends is at an all-time high. But as long as we’re social distancing, GLAM Vermont and Pride Center of Vermont have teamed up to launch a virtual dance club, while dance clubs are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Queerantined: Dance Like No One’s Watching” happens every Saturday night from 7 to 9 p.m., the next two on May 23 and 30.
Says the Pride Center, “DJ Craig Mitchell will partner with Giardia B & GLAM Vermont go-go dancers to disco, dance and banter back and forth with viewers from the safety of our own homes. Regular dancers include Mecca with spectacular illuminated hula hoops & outfits, Pup Topaz with playful moves, and guest GLAM boys who pop in through the night.”

GLAM Vermont is “an Mpowerment Program” that hosts social events for gay, bi and trans guys in the Champlain Valley. It also has an HIV prevention program that provides support for young gay and bisexual men. It GLAM offers other events, such as themed parties, game nights, hiking adventures, sex talks, dance classes and more.
