Film buffs and queer culture fans unite for a two-week celluloid celebration curated by an award-winning historian. “From the Jenni Olson Queer Film Collection” brings together both iconic and rare films spanning butch identity, trans lives and the New Queer Cinema movement and more. Highlights include the ’80s cult gem “Dallas Doll” (1994), starring Sandra Bernhard as a seductive golf pro, as well as “Queens at Heart,” a 1967 documentary slash exploitation film about pre-Stonewall trans life that was considered lost until Olson unearthed a 35mm print in the ’90s. Olson will be on hand for live discussions on select dates, so there’ll be a chance to geek out over trailers, Super 8s and the wonders of must-see queer film.
