In celebration of their third anniversary Transhealth — the Bay State-based, trans-led, gender-affirming health care center for trans and gender-diverse people and their families — is hosting a benefit fireside chat with actor and writer Elliot Page.
Reports the Boston Globe:
Elliot Page — an Oscar-nominated actor and New York Times bestselling author for his memoir “Pageboy” — is headed to Western Massachusetts next month to benefit a local transgender healthcare organization.
Transhealth — a local medical group that offers primary care and gender-affirming hormonal care — is hosting a “fireside chat” in Northampton with Page for the healthcare center’s third anniversary. The benefit will feature conversation with Page, who came out as trans in 2020.
“It is an honor of a lifetime to bring Elliot Page to celebrate Transhealth with us,” Transhealth CEO and President Dallas Ducar said. “This vital event will raise crucial funds for Transhealth while also shining a light on how our journeys can ripple outward to change the world for good.”
Page, known for “Juno” and “Umbrella Academy,” will be at the Academy of Music in Northampton at 7:30 p.m. on May 5 for the conversation.
Tickets are available now and cost $46 to $87 after fees. VIP tickets, costing $274, include a meet and greet with Page.
