Art has always been a vehicle for examining the issues and emotions that come with being LGBTQ, sharing our community’s experience, and moving hearts and minds. And Wicked Queer, Boston’s annual LGBTQ film fest, always curates a smart cinematic selection of flicks that do just that: Last year’s lineup, for instance, included “Ma Belle, My Beauty,” a romance between two women in the South of France that wound up winning the Audience Award at Sundance. Discover the next great indie flick when Wicked Queer returns with both virtual and live screenings in 2022, including a kickoff event at Harvard Square’s historic Brattle Theater.
