Sixth annual Provincetown Food & Wine Festival, Nov. 5–8

The Provincetown Food & Wine Festival is celebrating its sixth year in Provincetown, Thursday–Sunday, Nov. 5–8. Events held throughout town at a variety of venues. This year’s theme is “Unmistakably Provincetown: Community, Culture & Camp.”

Thursday starts it off with restaurants in full swing. Some will have Prix Fixe, while others have set times for wine dinners. Bookings to all our restaurant events are directly through the venue. Some are using RESY or OPENTABLE while others are booking via telephone. You may choose your favorites or try something new!

Friday afternoon is the Arts & Wine Gallery stroll. From 1pm-4pm walk to our participating galleries for complimentary wines. To makes things easier, the Mayflower Trolley Company will be offering complimentary shuttle service so that you can hit all galleries from the East End to the Center of Town. This event sponsored in part by our friends at Cape Cod 5 Bank.

Following the stroll, we have several wine tasting receptions throughout town before your Wine Dinner plans. After dinner be sure to attend our new event at The Post Office Café – A comedy and talent drag spectacular pageant where “Miss Decanter” will be crowned.

Saturday afternoon is the biggest event. The Grand Tasting at Town Hall. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the auditorium offers over 250 wines to sample with some tasting treats provided by Relish Sandwich Shop. Special guests will be gracing the auditorium as well this year. Tickets are available for purchase on the event website ($90/guest. Must be 21 or older to attend).

Saturday night gets hot with a new decadent event, “More than a Hint of Leather”. This dessert and wine pairing event turns into a steamy leather dance party showing off what Provincetown nightlife does best!

There will be live entertainment throughout the festival at many different venues. Be sure to check out our talented line up we are calling “Cabernet Cabaret” starting as early as Wednesday and continuing through Sunday.

Sunday is a full day of events from brunches, the annual Pie Competition at The Commons, and Last Tea at the Boatslip.

The Provincetown Food & Wine Festival is sponsored in part by the Provincetown Tourism Fund, with generous contributions from our partnering wine distributors, suppliers and producers listed on the event website.
