What’s more, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the Fenway Institute, the organization’s internationally renowned research arm. Fenway Institute data impacts policies related to LGBTQ health, HIV and other issues, and shoring up support for thoughtful research around sexual and gender minorities is as essential as ever.

On the evening of October 3 at the Westin Boston Seaport, Fenway Health will proudly present the Heroes in Action Award to The Equality Fund at the Boston Foundation for its extraordinary commitment to advancing equality, opportunity, and wellbeing for LGBTQ+ people across Massachusetts.
Since 2012, The Equality Fund has invested more than $3.6 million in grants to nonprofit organizations serving LGBTQ+ communities, helping to strengthen advocacy, expand access to critical services, and foster a more equitable future for all. As the largest philanthropic fund exclusively dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ communities in Massachusetts, its impact continues to transform lives throughout the Commonwealth.
