Boston Legacy women’s pro soccer team hosts first Pride Match at Gillette Stadium

Boston Legacy Football Club — the new women’s professional soccer team that currently plays at Gillette Stadium and will move to Boston’s White Stadium in 2027 — is hosting their first Pride Match this coming Sunday, May 3, at 3 p.m.

Discount tickets are available at gofevo.com/event/Bostonlegacy32.

“It’s always a great day when women’s professional soccer is back in Boston. I look forward to watching the Boston Legacy build a club for a new generation while honoring those who helped build the game,” said World Cup champion Kristine Lilly, who advised the team in this, their inaugural season.

By now, Boston Legacy FC has played three home games at Gillette with over 30,000 fans cheering them on at each game and setting new attendance records across the entire league. That bar could be raised even higher at Sunday’s Pride Match.

“The point of this match is to celebrate Pride in our community, offer a safe environment for people to celebrate, and enjoy a great women’s soccer match!” said a spokesperson for the team.
