Looking for a New Year’s Eve party with the razzle-dazzle of Broadway and the elegance of an evening at the orchestra? Join the Boston Pops and legendary diva Bernadette Peters for a night of glitter, glamour and show tunes at Symphony Hall. Famed for roles in “Into the Woods” and “Follies,” the longtime LGBTQ ally is widely considered the finest interpreter of works by gay icon Stephen Sondheim — as well as a preeminent performer who always brings storytelling flair and humor to the stage. For her NYE show, Peters will also bring along two maestros: Emmy-nominated conductor and Connecticut native Troy Quinn and Peters’ music director Josep Thalken, who will also accompany her on the piano.
