If there is one thing that LGBTQ folks know well, it’s that strength is built through adversity. Consider this concert by Coro Allegro, Boston’s award-winning LGBTQ classical chorus, to be an extraordinary and empowering acknowledgement of the spirit of resilience: The program includes Zoltán Kodály’s “Missa Brevis,” composed amid bombings in Budapest during World War II, and “Borders,” a modern call for empathy in the face of migrant crises. The US premiere of “i see others like me,” meanwhile, speaks to finding strength in community. It’s a celebration of solidarity that feels as vitally important as ever.
