The 37th Provincetown Swim for Life & Paddler Flotilla, set for September 7, is pleased to announce its photo archive has reached one million views. To mark this occasion, Frederick Studio Provincetown will present: Splash – 1 Million Views, featuring selections from the Swim’s photo archive dating back to 1988.
The exhibition will run from September 4-8, 2024, with the opening reception next Friday, September 6, 6-8 p.m. at 237 Commercial Street, Provincetown.
The opening will precede the annual Celebration of Life Concert across the street at the UU Meeting House at 8 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
Mike Syers, Swim for Life photographer and curator of the exhibition, creates the visual story of this quintessential Provincetown tradition and fundraiser. Photographers include Syers, Jane Paradise, Mark Finnen, Jay Critchley, Igor Myakotin, Dan McKeon & others.

The Swim for Life, which has raised $6M since 1988 for thirteen community nonprofit organizations, includes a 1.2-mile Swim and a Half-Mile Swim along the shoreline of Provincetown Harbor, and a one-mile swim in Wellfleet’s Great Pond.
