Lesbians & Friends LGBTQIA+ Dance
Here’s a dance fundraiser for everyone, including those with two left feet. Launched in 1991 by a group of lesbians from the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, which focuses its efforts on disease prevention, this annual boogey-down, now in its 27th year, includes a fun lesson presented by Liz Nania of Out to Dance, a Boston studio that offers LGBTQ group dance classes in two-step, rumba and more. Once you’ve mastered a few moves, work them out to high-energy tunes from San Francisco DJ Christina—all to support MBCC’s crucial community education programs.
