Boston LGBTQ+ Museum of Art, History & Culture is hosting its first Portraits of Pride Ball, a
premiere benefit gala celebration of queer achievements in the arts and culture, at the Hynes Convention Center, 900 Boylston Street in Boston, from 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday, June 7. (For registration, click here.) Festivities include DJ performers, speakers and a full bar.
Honorary co-chairs include Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu. And awardees include photographer John Huet, New England Foundation for the arts Executive Director Harold Steward and Creative Hub Worcester co-founders Stacy Lord and Laura Marotta.
The Portraits of Pride Ball is also a celebration of the 2024 Portraits of Pride Exhibit and a crucial fundraiser aimed at supporting the mission and programs of the newly launched Boston LGBTQ+ Museum of Art, History & Culture. The event is expected to draw the LGBTQ+ leaders, advocates, elected officials, business figures, and our community and thus promises an inspiring blend of entertainment and purpose.
