Get your tickets now before they sell out again this year for a fabulous family-friendly fête as Greater Boston PFLAG celebrates their 22nd annual Pride & Passion Event from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Royale in Boston’s Theater District. (A public parking garage is located across the street at 274 Tremont St.)

The evening features live entertainment with singer-songwriter Catie Curtis, aerialists and emcee Nancy Nogood, plus signature cocktails and mocktails, hors d’oeuvres, small plates, a fund-raising paddle raise and much more — including , the presentation of the Cornerstone of Equality 2024 Award to Chris Mosier (he/him), trailblazing athlete, activist, and founder of TransAthlete.com.

In 2020, Mosier made history becoming the first transgender athlete to compete in the Olympic Trials in the gender with which they identify. Before that, in 2015 he became the first openly trans man to make a Men’s US National Team. He was instrumental in getting the International Olympic Committee policy on transgender athletes changed, and was the first trans athlete to compete in a world championship race under the new rules. He has been called “the man who changed the Olympics” by the BBC and New York Magazine. Chris is an eight-time member of Team USA, a four-time Men’s National Champion, and a Men’s All-American. Chris is also an inductee into the National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame. He is sponsored by Nike and has been featured in multiple global Nike campaigns.

Emcee Nogood (she/her) is a drag artist/playwright called “GLAMOROUS!” by the New York Times. In 2020, Nancy was commissioned by Michigan Stage to write her drag play for youth, “Looking Back Through Stained Glass,” a semi-autobiographical journey of finding community and acceptance in the face of adversity. When not in a wig, Nancy goes by Philip and works on the education team of PFLAG NYC, combining a passion for helping LGBTQ+ folks and a love of working with young people.

Founded in 1973, PFLAG is the first and largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their families, and this event helps fund all the amazing work Greater Boston PFLAG does.
