Bob Mackie. Alexander McQueen. Patrick Kelly. Gay greats, all, whose artistry and vision forever changed the fashion industry. And they’re all featured in “Dress Up,” a new exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston that celebrates the runway as a medium of self-expression—and the power of clothing to communicate personal identity. More than 100 works make up the show, which features 20th- and 21st-century attire, including jewelry and accessories, from the names who left a permanent mark on American (and global) culture.
