Come on out for this celebration of activism hosted by Keshet, a national organization working toward full LGBTQ+ equality in Jewish life. The annual dinner and awards ceremony will honor some truly inspiring folks this year: Rabbis Daniel Bogard and Karen Kriger Bogard, founders of Camp Indigo Point, a summer camp for trans and gender-expansive kids; activists Maharat Rori Picker Neiss and Russel Neiss, who have been fighting anti-trans legislation in Missouri and across the country; Dr. Jenny Siegel, medical director of the Transgender Health Program at Massachusetts General Hospital; and Michael W. Twitty, culinary historian and award-winning author of “Koshersoul: The Faith and Food Journey of an African American Jew.” It’s all hosted by comedian Liz Glazer, and lesbian-led band Betty is in the house, too.
