Pie in the Sky, Community Servings’ annual Thanksgiving fundraising bake sale is back for its 31st year, and this year — in addition to the delicious pies you can buy to support folks across Massachusetts and Rhode Island impacted by HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes and other critical and chronic illnesses — they’re partnering with America’s Test Kitchen to offer cookbook/pie packages.
Here’s the scoop:
Once again, we’re proud to partner with dozens of Boston-area bakers, restaurants, and caterers to offer locally baked apple, pecan, and pumpkin pies to serve alongside your Thanksgiving feast. Individual apple, pecan, and pumpkin pies are $35. Each pie sale provides a week’s worth of our medically tailored meals to a Community Servings client unable to shop and cook for themselves and their family.
Thanks to our friends at America’s Test Kitchen, we’re excited to offer two new pie and cookbook packages – “Gatherings: Casual Family Meals to Share” and “The Perfect Pie: Your Ultimate Guide to Classic and Modern Pies, Tarts, Galettes and More!” Each package provides five weeks of meals for a Community Servings client and includes a delicious apple pie, cookbook, and reusable tote bag.
No need for a pie? You can still support our mission by purchasing a “Pie for a Community Servings Client,” – a $35 donation with the same impact as buying a physical pie.
We’re grateful for the support of generous sponsors America’s Test Kitchen, Coldwell Banker Realty, Digitas, ScrubaDub, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
