It may be produced by the hirsute hunks of the Northeast Ursamen, but this annual series of Halloween happenings in Provincetown isn’t just for the bears. In fact, this year’s theme, “Beary Tunes,” encourages costumes inspired by all sorts of colorful cartoon characters—so if Yogi and Boo-Boo aren’t your bag, you could always slather on some body paint to go as a blue Smurf, a yellow SpongeBob or a green Incredible Hulk. However you decide to get costumed, though, you’ll find plenty of tricks and treats on P’town dance floors, at a “Beart Mart” vendor fair at the Boatslip (to benefit the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Foundation) and at Provincetown Town Hall, where RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio will show off her trademark wit and undisguised insult comedy.
