Boston Pride for the People – the new organization at the helm of the return of Boston’s annual LGBTQ+ celebration – is seeing an outpouring of support from across the community. Pride is back and in-person!
This year’s main event takes place on Saturday June 10, with the parade beginning at 11 a.m. and the festival opening at noon. Hundreds of thousands will join together to live out of our values to empower, celebrate, commemorate, and educate our beautiful, diverse communities. Registration is currently open for marchers, vendors, entertainers, and volunteers.
PARADE + FESTIVALS
Registrations for the parade and two festivals (at Boston Common and Boston City Hall Plaza) are arriving daily. Over 70 groups have signed up to march in just the first 10 days of registration! Parade contingents, which can include up to 75 marchers and a vehicle or float, are encouraged to register soon by following this link, which includes all the information you need about pricing and details.

SPONSORS
The full-scale celebration comes with a substantial price tag. This year’s fundraising goal is $750,000, which would cover the cost of the events during the Pride celebration and a few others throughout the year. The all-volunteer board is hard at work to meet this goal, and the fundraising team is thrilled to report the group is already halfway there, with both previous and first-time sponsors on board.
Partnership opportunities are available at various levels — all with meaningful community engagement and visibility integrated. An announcement of major partners is planned for early May.

ENTERTAINMENT + VOLUNTEERS
Boston Pride for the People issued a community-wide call for local artists to perform at the festivals. We are still accepting applications until April 21, apply here!
A celebration like Boston Pride requires hundreds of volunteers to help throughout the parade and festivals. Please sign up to join us (and bring friends!) It’s a great way to meet people and you will help make this event amazing!
