After two years of pandemic-drive virtual fundraising, the annual HIV/AIDS benefit bike ride Harbor to the Bay is back with a fully in-person, 20th anniversary event. The big day is September 17 with H2B’s usual 68- or 125-mile rides, plus a short loop in Provincetown. Cyclists and volunteers can participate in the Boston or P’town rides, or they can create their own physical challenge to raise funds for folks living with HIV/AIDS. H2B benefits four local HIV/AIDS care, prevention and research organizations — Fenway Health, AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod, Community Research Initiative and AIDS Action. Since the ride began in 2003, it has raised more than six million dollars for these life-saving organizations.
