The Boston Red Sox will host their eighth annual Pride Night at Fenway Park on Wednesday, June 15, when the Sox take on the Oakland Athletics. Game time is 7:10 p.m.
Lucky ticket holders who already purchased through a special offer will receive a Red Sox hat in Pride colors. While that special Pride Night offer is now sold out, tickets to the game, starting at $20, are still available at mlb.com.
Pride Night at Fenway Park is always a blast, with its pre-game Pride social on the Sam Deck. At last year’s event, the Sox beat the Houston Astros 12–8. Proceeds benefited Boston Pride. The crowd cheered the Pride Night first pitch, and the National Anthem was sung by out, proud performer Aaron Patterson (a Boston Conservatory grad). The first 1,000 fans who purchased Pride Night tix got a “Progress B” t-shirt.
This year, with things almost back in full swing, promises to be an equally grand-slam occasion.
