Every year, Boston Business Journal honors individuals and regionally based businesses that demonstrate exceptional commitments to Greater Boston’s LGBTQ community.
This year, BBJ is honoring software developer PTC Inc., the insurance company Mass Mutual and architectural firm DiMella Shaffer with their Corporate Ally Award, which they’ll present at their Business of Pride event on June 1 at Boston Chops South End. (Click here for more on the event.)
That evening, BBJ’s LGBT Trailblazer Awards will go to Bob Giannino, Ansin president and CEO of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley, and Isabel Aznarez, cofounder and VP, head of discovery research, at Stoke Therapeutics.
“The BBJ is proud to recognize these outstanding individual and companies for the work they do to ensure equity and inclusion at work and in our community,” said Carolyn M. Jones, market president and publisher of the Boston Business Journal.
“In a time where so many challenges exist, the courage, support and wisdom of these honorees is something we can all benefit from modeling and drive success for both business and community. We congratulate and thank them for the work they do and for their inspiration,” Jones said.
