Now that we’re finally starting to get out there to live shows again, there’s probably a young person in your life who deserves a fun night out after dealing with some truly strange school days in recent years. Give them a treat—and earn yourself some cool points as a parent, guncle or mentor—with tickets to see JoJo Siwa on her city-hopping tour. You might know the 18-year-old as the latest runner-up on “Dancing with the Stars,” where she was part of the first same-sex dance couple featured on the hit ABC show. Kids, meanwhile, know her as an energetic and upbeat social media sensation with 11.2 million Instagram followers and even more subscribers on YouTube, not to mention a burgeoning queen of branded merchandise. (You’ll discover this when they drag you to the souvenir stand.) Most importantly, though, she’s become a positive role model for LGBTQ youth by coming out as pansexual and standing up to online bullies.
