Community Research Initiative is hosting its annual summer party on Saturday, August 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. This year’s event will be a “virtual cocktail party,” held online due to COVID precautions. At the event, you can learn all about and support CRI’s groundbreaking work. Plus the annual Dr. Cal Cohen Founder’s Award will be presented to the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod.
“CRI and AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod have worked side by side since the beginning of the AIDS epidemic to fight for the lives and dignity of people living with HIV,” said CRI Executive Director and Co-Founder Julie Marston.
“Like CRI, ASGCC has had to evolve over the years to fill the needs of their community on the Cape and Islands. They are a vital support system for hundreds of people living with HIV, those struggling with addiction, and in the education and prevention of HIV, HCV and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases,” Marston said.
