Don your gayest apparel and get thee to Salem for the opening of “Made It.” This exciting exhibition features more than 100 works, spanning 250 years, that represent women’s contributions to fashion and design. Expect to find some major couture-world stars, of course. (You can’t have a show like this without including Coco Chanel, can you?) But “Made It” also showcases folks who might otherwise be lost to time, like Mary Todd Lincoln’s seamstress, as well as experimental labels in high and street fashion. We might be out of the closet—but boy oh boy, we’d love to raid this one.
